Product characteristics
Many of the health problems that we suffer from today are due to obesity. Obesity has its origin in high fat consumption in many cases, to the insufficient consumption of fibre (i.e. from fruits and vegetables) in diets, as well as a lack of physical exercise.
Fibre does not contain calories and cannot be digested, but it plays an important function in the organism:
- An adequate ingestion of fibre is needed for digestion to be correct
- Fibre prolongs the amount of time that food remains in the stomach, and thus strengthens the sensation of being sated and reduces the appetite
- Fibre regulates the absorption of other nutrients and delays the absorption of glucose and cholesterol
- Fibre is needed to keep the flora in the gastrointestinal tract in good condition
MacroBalance Drink MixTM is a natural compound made from different fibres, amongst which are included:
- Plantago psyllium pods and seeds to boost intestinal activity and regularity of defecations. Oat fibre, fruit components and vegetable pectins to normalise the factors of metabolic risk in the blood and keep the intestinal flora in good condition
- Chitosan – a natural fat excipient – to absorb excess fats in the gastrointestinal tract. In this way, the digestion and absorption of these fats is avoided and it is easier to control body weight, while simultaneously protecting the metabolism of cholesterol and other body fats
- Vitamin C improves the capacity of fibres to absorb fats and protect fat molecules from oxidation
Intake
Dissolve a measuring spoon in approximately 200 ml of water or fruit juice. This drink should be ingested at least 30 minutes before meals. Drink an additional 2 litres of water a day, as it is important for improving intestinal movement.
Vitacor Plus™ and other programmes with essential nutrients should be taken either an hour before or after the MacroBalance Drink, as the active ingredient chitosan absorbs fats and liposoluble vitamins and expels them without them having been digested.
