The cells in the digestive tract need certain cellular nutrients to perform their highly specialised tasks. When functioning at their optimum level, these cells ensure that food absorbed is properly broken down and its nutrients can be assimilated and transported to the body’s organs.
Illioforte™ contains tested cellular nutrients in a synergistic compound which supports the most critical factors in healthy intestinal function at a cellular level. Illioforte™ contains vitamin C, which performs multiple functions in the body’s metabolism and is necessary for good digestion and the processing of nutrients. For instance, it is involved in the breakdown of cholesterol to form bile acids.
Illioforte™ also contains folic acid, Vitamin B6 and B12, which support cell division in the cellular tissue lining the stomach and intestinal tract. Vitamin B6 is also important for the proper absorption and use of amino acids, carbohydrates and fats by the body’s cells. Vitamin B12 is needed by all the body’s cells as a co-factor of enzymes which are involved in fat and carbohydrate metabolism, and protein formation.
Papain and bromelain, terms designating two respective groups of proteolytic (proteinsplitting) enzymes, promote the general digestion of proteins derived from food. The amino acid glutamine occurs in high concentrations in certain tissues and organs. The cells of the intestinal mucus membrane use glutamine as the chief supplier of energy for their metabolism.

Dosage
Take Illioforte™ at intervals during the day with meals and sufficient fluid. This ensures a constant concentration in the blood and uniform assimilation of the active constituents by the body.
