Reconstructive formula for the natural reinforcement of normal cellular functioning

The human body is made up of billions of cells. New cells are continually being created either as part of the growing process or to replace old or dead cells. The new cells are created by cell division, so in order to grow and proliferate cells must dissolve the dense collagen matrix and connective tissue around them in controlled fashion, and to do this cells secrete a special collagen-degrading enzyme. In a healthy body the secretion of these enzymes is very precisely controlled in order to ensure that this short-term process does not compromise the long-term strength and stability of the connective tissue.

EpiQuercican™ was developed together with the basic formula Vitacor Plus™ as a nutritional supplement combination designed to:

EpiQuercican™ contains cellular nutrients in synergistic combination for the natural reinforcement of normal cellular functioning:

  • Inhibition of collagen-degrading enzymes
    A combination of vitamin C, the amino acid lysine and EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate) inhibits the collagen-degrading enzymes to the extent necessary to preserve normal cell function. EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate) is a vegetable substance belonging to the polyphenols group, and is a key constituent of green tea.
  • Maintenance of stable connective tissue
    The amino acids L-proline and L-lysine are vital building blocks of connective tissue. In EpiQuercican™ these amino acids are present in the L-form, a naturally-occurring configuration of these substances which is particularly easy for the body to absorb and put to use.
  • Boosting the antioxidant protective systems
    Selenium, copper and manganese are key components of the antioxidant immune system, protecting tissue against free radicals. EGCG also has strong antioxidant and cellular protection properties.
  • Enhancing the bioavailability
    Due to oxidation and a low absorption rate, the green tea extract EGCG has only a limited bioavailability. Scientific studies prove that the absorption of EGCG from the small intestine and the plasma levels of EGCG are improved by the intake the quercetin – a flavonoid from the group of the polyphenols. That way, the protective benefits of EGCG in our bodies are improved still further.

Intake

Take EpiQuercican™ at intervals during the day with meals and with sufficient liquids (water, juice, tea). In this way, a constant concentration in the blood is ensured, as well as the homogeneous absorption of the active ingredients.
